OUT OF THE TOOLBOX: WHAT’S YOUR MOST USEFUL TOOL?

For Quiles, his BODY is his most important tool. He states, “If you’re not physically and mentally strong, you will be miserable and will find any reason to quit.”

WORK DAZE: WHAT WAS ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING PROJECTS YOU HAVE WORKED ON?

How can he just choose one? Quiles said “Whether it be laboring for the company carpenters at Stemmler Hall, or being a mason tender for the brick layers (stone mason) at the new Police Headquarters I truly enjoy my work so it is very difficult to choose just one.

DAILY MOTIVATION: WHAT MAKES YOU CONTINUE TO COME TO WORK EACH DAY?

Quiles finds being around workers from all walks of life and the diverse amount of experience is the best part about the job. “I watch, I learn, I apply, and that keeps me going.” Quiles says, “When you enjoy what you do you roll with the punches, you adapt, you grow, and you never complain.
